Chymera hails originally from Cork and spent his formative musical years in Dublin, Ireland. Currently based somewhere in the world. He creates various shades of techno, drawing on many different influences, acoustic and electronic. Also makes netlabel releases as I AM AN EXIT.
"I'm originally from Cork, spent my formative musical years in Dublin, Ireland, living temporarily in Costa Rica and about to embark for somewhere in Europe. I have been appreciating electronic music since 2000 and I've been writing and producing various forms of techno since late 2002. I take my favourite bits from Detroit, electronica, minimal, house, alternative, industrial, folk, deep techno and hard techno and form my own technoid interpretations. My music is usually uplifting, though often kinda sad as well. (I'm a pretty happy guy though!). You can see my influences over there on the left and also in my top friends list. That's just a small portion. Really every single sound that I hear in my daily life influences me in some way, noticeable or not. Music is the main thing in my life but I'm also moved in a similar way by certain books, films, places and of course, people."
