Hij begon zijn muzikale achtergrond bij het afspelen van de drums voor 6 jaar. Op de leeftijd van 15 jaar verkocht hij zijn drum kit gekocht en 2 draaitafels en een mixer.
Dat was het begin van zijn carrière, begon hij te spelen op lokale kleine clubs in Rotterdam, zoals Cosmic en Bootleg dj cafe (Bootleg is nog steeds een van de toonaangevende dj cafes in Rotterdam) hij nog steeds speelt er vaak. Hij ontwikkelde zijn talent om zijn omvang toen bleek bij de mensen om hem heen dat hij ernstig over hoe u een professionele DJ.
Na kreeg hij een baan in de record store / distributie Triple Vision alles ging snel. Playing in New York Verenigde Staten voor Beeldende dansen en kort na dat hij was uitgenodigd om te spelen in de Bumb (een gloednieuwe club in Rotterdam.) Nadat hij speelde een briljante set de initiatiefnemer van de Bumb onmiddellijk vroeg hem voor een wekelijkse residency op de BumB .
Playing naast kunstenaar zoals Kiko, Jeff Mills, Alex Smoke, Agaric, Don Diablo, Bart Skills en vele anderen, hij toont zich een veelbelovend aankomend talent. Geïnspireerd door Luciano, Alex Smoke, James Holden, John Tejada, Adam Beyer, Locodice, Green Velvet, Matthew Dear en de Neptunes, ontwikkelde hij een eigen muzikale stijl van funky rollend elektronische house muziek.
Hij speelt een verscheidenheid van techno, minimal, house en terug naar die groove die gevonden kan worden op labels als Playhouse, Cocoon, Kompakt, Sound Architecture, Casjmere en Ovum. Boris heeft zijn eigen record label Luxaflex Records wat staat voor een platform van ernstige minimale grooves en technologie voor de geest. Op het moment dat Boris Ross opgeheven zijn carrière naar het volgende niveau en werkt momenteel in de studio voor zijn eerste release op Luxa Flex nr 010 met een remix van Mark Henning en Enrico Tanabe.
