Josh Lasden (Muzzic, El Futuro, Nightflight, El Futuro Recordings, 3rd Best House DJ EMA awards 2006, BE)

Hij verdiende zijn strepen met meer dan 10 jaar activiteit in de Belgische dance-scene zowel als dj, producer, labelmanager, journalist en promotor.

In 1998 richtte hij El Futuro op, een radioshow ter promotie van house muziek dat later een populair party concept werd, in 2005 werd de El Futuro EP uitgebracht en in 2007 het El Futuro Recordings label. Met ditzelfde concept organiseert hij events oa in Club N9 (Eeklo), Fuse (Brussel), Decadance, Club Unit, Celtic (Gent).

Hij startte als organisator en dj in Club N9 in 1995, in 1997 werd hij één van de eerste resident dj’s in Club Decadance waar hij de tech house sound introduceerde die later de basis muziek van de club werd.

Hij speelt regelmatig in de toonaangevende clubs van België zoals Fuse, Café d'Anvers, Silo, La Rocca, Decadance, Stereo Sushi was te gast op Laundry Day, 10daysoff (onder meer Fcomm nacht, afsluiten na zowel Carl Craig als Laurent Garnier), Kozzmozz, Contact Europe Festival (Italië), Cityparade, Dour Festival (YTC), Rock Ternat (YTC), Soundgathering Festival en vele andere maar ook in Frankrijk (Parijs), Italië (Milaan), UK (Londen) en Nederland.

Sinds 2002 is hij resident voor Muzzic, het tech house concept van Kozzmozz , ook voor Nightflight en zijn eigen El Futuro concept.

Hij staat in voor de artistieke vormgeving van het label, Villa65 Records.

Hij begon te schrijven voor Morph Magazine in 1998, was essentieel voor het lanceren van Dancecommunity.be tot de nr 1 dance portal in 2003 en schrijft nu voor Out Soon Magazine, 6am.be en livesets.com.

In 2005 werd hij verkozen in de top 10, Best Nationale house DJ, voor de Partyguide Awards en werd nr 9 genoteerd, één jaar later steeg hij met 6 plaatsen tot de 3de beste Belgische house DJ in 2006. Door de populariteit van de El Futuro EP werden Josh en Synoptic (co-producer) verkozen tot 6de beste Nationale Producers voor de Partyguide Awards 2006.

He has more than 10 years activity in the Belgian dance scene as dj, producer, labelmanager, journalist and promoter; launching the El Futuro concept, in 1998, a radio show to promote house music which became a party concept later on organising events in Club N9 (Eeklo), Fuse (Brussels), Club Decadance, Club Unit and Celtic in Ghent, releasing the El Futuro EP in 2005 and launching the label El Futuro Recordings in 2007.

Starting as organiser and dj in Club N9 in 1995, continuing in 1997 as one of the first resident dj’s in Club Decadance where he introduced the tech house sound that became the basic music of the famous club in Ghent.

He played in Fuse, Café d'Anvers, Silo, La Rocca, Laundry Day, 10daysoff (including the Fcomm night and the closing of both Carl Craig and Laurent Garnier), Kozzmozz, Contact Europe Festival (Italy), Cityparade, Dour Festival (YTC), Rock Ternat (YTC), Soundgathering Festival and many more as abroad in France (Paris), Italy (Milan), UK (London) and The Netherlands.

He is a resident artist for Kozzmozz their house event since 2002, Muzzic, also for El Futuro, Montuno’s and Nightflight.

He is responsible for the artistic leading of the label, Villa65 Records.

Due to the popularity of the El Futuro EP, Josh and Synoptic (co-producer) were crowned 6th best National Producers for the Partyguide awards in 2006.
